Cosmetology Instructor - As an Instructor, you will be licensed and qualified to teach all phases of cosmetology. You can work in private or public schools. All schools that teach cosmetology are required to have a licensed Instructor teaching the class. Some of the larger beauty supply companies require their educators to have an Instructors license.
Manicuring - A Manicurist is licensed to do manicures and pedicures. With a Manicurist license, you can work as a nail technician, salon owner, or in a large hotel or resort. Nail technology is a high paying and creative facet of the cosmetology industry.
Aesthetics- As an Aesthetician you will be licensed to work with the largest organ of the body, the skin. This career field is the fastest growing sector in our industry. With an Aesthetic license, you will have several job possibilities including owning or working in a day spa, working under a doctor in an office setting, and many more.
Massage Therapy-
As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) you may use your skills in a variety of
settings. You may be self-employed in a private practice; work in health
and wellness centers or hotels and resorts. Many LMTs work in physical therapy
centers or rehabilitation clinics and hospitals, as well as for sports
organizations (schools, universities, amateur and professional sports teams, and
more). You may also work in a spa or salon and even on cruise ships.
